Team Picker Wheel - Free Random Team Selector

Need to choose one team from a group? The WheelGo Team Picker Wheel turns your existing team names into an interactive spinner and selects one team at random. Replace the sample entries with your teams, then spin for a visible result.

Use the wheel to decide which team starts, presents first, receives the next challenge, or takes the next turn. Every team entered once appears in one equally sized segment.

Add teams individually or import a complete list with one team per line. Keep selected teams for repeatable rounds, or remove each result when every team should receive one turn.

What is a Team Picker Wheel?

A Team Picker Wheel is a visual random team selector. You enter the names of teams that already exist, spin the wheel, and use the pointer to choose one team from the list.

It is useful when several teams are eligible for the same role and you want the selection process to remain visible to everyone involved.

This tool selects between existing teams. It does not divide individual people into new teams; prepare the teams first, then add each team name to the wheel.

How to use the Team Picker Wheel

Add your teams and choose one random result in three steps.

  1. 1

    Add team names

Replace the sample teams individually or import a complete list with one team per line.

  2. 2

    Review the wheel

Check that every eligible team appears once and remove any duplicate entries.

  3. 3

    Spin for a team

Press the center of the wheel and wait for the pointer to reveal the selected team.

Each equally sized entry has the same chance during a spin. Enable Remove winner after each spin when every team should be selected no more than once.

Team Picker Wheel FAQ

Common questions about the Team Picker Wheel.

Is the Team Picker Wheel random?

Yes. Each spin randomly selects one of the team entries currently on the wheel. Teams entered once in equally sized segments have the same chance.

Does the wheel create random teams?

No. This wheel selects one team from a list of teams that already exist. Create your groups first, then add each team name as an entry.

How do I add a list of teams?

Open Import list, paste one team name per line, and apply the list. You can also edit the sample teams or add entries individually.

Can the wheel select teams without repeats?

Yes. Enable Remove winner after each spin in Settings. Each selected team will be removed before the next round.

What happens if a team appears twice?

Every entry receives its own wheel segment. A duplicated team therefore has multiple opportunities to be selected. Remove duplicates for an equal chance per team.

Is the random Team Picker Wheel free?

Yes. WheelGo works in a modern desktop, tablet, or mobile browser without requiring an app installation or account.
